There was absolutely no need to make the rope thing (which only remotely resembled a noose) public. It was a cheap publicity stunt and Bubba either went along with it or pushed it every step of the way. Calling in the FBI was just part of the stunt and NASCAR and Bubba should pay the bill plus a fine for wasting the time of federal agents. On top of that individuals should be charged for perpetrating the hoax and Bubba should be one of those charged. Bubba does not get paid just for winning races. He also makes lots of money through endorsements and his ability to attract companies to endorse his sorry ass went way up as a result of this stunt/hoax.

I could agree with you but then we both would be wrong.

What's to disagree with? All mrfish did was lay out the undisputed facts. Now if he said that Bubba planted the knot himself, I could see disagreeing with him, but pretty much what mrfish said would be the facts of the matter. It's basically the Jussie Smollett story all over again. Watered down slightly, but only slightly.

There's no doubt that Lil' Bubba was involved in the hoax and even after the FBI report he's still milking it for all he can get out of it. He looks at it as guaranteed endorsements and is seeking every second of free publicity he can get out of it. At the least a $100,000 fine for Lil' Bubba and a larger fine for NASCAR would be in order. You don't just go around alleging hate crimes, especially when they are obviously fake.

Lil' Bubba is a sniveling opportunist. Instead of whining about a little knot, he should have just laughed it off like a grown man.
wildrose wrote:shadylady: Lil' Bubba should have been a big boy and just laughed it off. That's what men do. They laugh off little things and let bygones be bygones and they don't imagine that bad intentions exist where there are none, but immature, small-minded people always look for ways of exploiting a situation for their own personal gain even if it makes others look bad. Of course, they rationalize their actions afterwards and convince themselves that they are helping improve the world in some way or at least they make that claim, but the sad reality is that they drag others down in their attempts to promote themselves.

Exactly. And all those NASCAR morons in that parade where they pushed Bubba's car: WHAT A BUNCH OF IDIOTS!

Congratulations to George Floyd for being drug free for an entire month!
Reportedly a student at Kent State University tweeted this little joke and the president of the university was triggered enough to issue an apology on behalf of the entire university. Complete idiocy! Hopefully that's where this stops because if a public university takes any further action against this student it will be sued out of existence!

desertrat: I think the institution involved was Kansas State, but otherwise you got the story right. Which school it happened at is really an insignificant detail, but there are those among us who obsess over insignificant details.

Is This Another Hate Crime Hoax?
First there was Smollett and then Bubba and now this.... The whole thing is so obvious that one YouTuber wrote: "If this is a hoax someone needs to be sent to prison." To which another YouTuber replied: "And to weight watchers."

Where You Least Expect It
More stupidity from the low-IQ-high-emotion-anti-racism crowd. They've become a parody of themselves.

Growing up Asian American... racism, discrimination, and why I deserve more.
