If they get blown away by Russian missile, then too fucking bad for them. The Russians hit munitions depots and the audits will presumably be carried out at those same locations. I can see why our government wants the audits. Way too much of what we send to Ukraine winds up on the black market, but putting our troops in locations which are likely to get hit by Russian missiles seems really dumb. It almost seems like we're looking for an excuse to fight the Russians directly and that road leads to one and only one place:
NUCLEAR ANNIHILATION!

The simpler solution would be to just stop wasting money on Ukraine! I know the neocons consider Ukraine is important to their plans, but quite frankly the neocons should be removed from power. Every last one of them should be rounded up and put away somewhere where they can't mess things up anymore.

15 Ukrainians are dying for every Russian dying
Russia's strategy of giving up territory in order to get a high kill count has worked spectacularly well. Our new media overlooks this obvious fact. Russia is winning the war big time and they're doing it with relatively few casualties and equipment loss on their side, while maximizing casualties and equipment loss on the other side. The way this ends is inescapable unless the USA and NATO put boots on the ground, but if that happens then the entire situation could get out of control very quickly.

US-Funded Media Fails to Produce Evidence of Russian "War Crimes"
Despite over half a year to gather evidence, the video report categorically fails to prove the Russian massacres of Ukrainian civilians. All the claims made about Bucha are without a basis in reality. It was all spin. There was no massacre perpetrated by Russia. It's much more likely that Ukrainian soldiers shooting suspected Russian collaborators.

The Bucha fake news story was DOA. This is from April 05, 2022:

Don't believe anything you see published by the corporate media. The truth is that the Ukrainians killed the people and put them there to make the Russians look bad. It's actually the Ukrainians who are torturing captured Russian soldiers. This situation in Bucha was staged to take the attention away from the actual crimes committed by the Ukrainians.

To which I replied with this:
desertrat wrote:Media Desperately Whips Up Bucha War Crimes In Attempt To Start WW3
Obviously fake! The Ukrainian Nazis are desperate and did this to gain support and it's worked so well that the USA is sending a billion dollars! I can think of lots of things that billion dollars could be used for.... like maybe a tax break!

It's good though to keep on insisting that the truth be told and so this needs to be repeated to set the record straight. The Ukrainians are the ones committing the wartime atrocities. The Russians are doing the right thing.

Russian Kherson Withdrawal: Trap? Or Necessary Chess Move?
Strategy is sometimes not an obvious thing. If it were then strategy would be pointless. It's all about out-thinking your opponent. Apparent losses can set up huge victories.

drdesert: Sometimes what appears to be an easy win can lead to a disastrous defeat. A battalion of mercenaries has refused to engage since they believe it's a trap. Russia has been evacuating civilians and building barricades for over two weeks now. The mercenaries have enough common sense to realize that the situation in Kherson could be dangerous. Zelensky, however, is so eager for a perceived victory that he doesn't care if two thousand or more soldiers are killed to gain territory that will be lost a month later. Time is on Russia's side. They are in no hurry. Zelensky, on the other hand, is desperate and under pressure to produce results.

The Russians are gonna crush the Ukrainians
There is no way that Russia will lose. Either the USA and NATO allow Russia to slowly crush Ukraine or we wind up with a nuclear confrontation. If the USA and NATO decide to actively fight in Ukraine and the Russian's wind up losing, then they will bring out the nukes. Russia will at the very least wind up with the four newly annexed territories plus Crimea. There's a very good chance they'll wind up with all of Ukraine. The only thing the USA and NATO can do is try to make that as costly as possible for Russia. The problem there is that means that a huge number of Ukrainians will die as a result. It will also galvanize the BRICS+ nations to behave more belligerently towards the USA and European nations which will exacerbate the economic problems we are now experiencing. The smartest thing to do right now is negotiate. Recognize all five disputed territories as part of Russia and agree that Ukraine will never be part of NATO and also agree that Finland will not be part of NATO and possibly an end to this war can be reached. The NEOCONS won't go for that though and so things are likely to only get worse.

EVERYTHING changes in 4 weeks; this is Putin's calm before the storm
It's just a matter of the time. When the ground freezes, the Russians will begin moving forward in a steady and methodical manner.
