Judge Jeanine: Trump Fulfilling End Times Prophecy!
Cenk outlines the basic beliefs regarding "The End Times" according to the Book of Revelations in the Bible. Several problems with his portrayal of that prophecy, but generally he's not too far off. As with most prophecies, the Book of Revelations is very vague and so what is written is quite open to interpretation. For instance, Russia and Iran are not mentioned in the Bible, but there is a reference to a Bear and that's said to represent Russia. Not the most solid correspondence between prophecy and reality, but it is close enough to satisfy true believers (aka, religious nutjobs).

EVERY CHURCH EVER
Actually I've been to lots of different churches and none of them were like any of these, but I'm sure there are plenty of weird churches out there!

The Satanic Temple places festive statue in Illinois Capitol building
It's hard to say if the religious nutjobs are the Satanists themselves or those who object to their contribution to the Christmas display. IMHO both sides of the issue qualify as religious nutjobs, but then again I'm not terribly religious and so I'm fairly neutral on the issue.

Thousands of Muslims angered over Nike shoe design
Most muslims are religious nutjobs. Anyone who gets triggered by the stylized writing on the bottom of the shoe needs to see a psychiatrist.

They aren't too crazy about toilet paper either!

Why Schools Are Banning Yoga
The reality of the situation is one thing, but religious nutjobs are not in touch with reality.
In reality, school-based yoga typically focuses on physical exercise or on relaxation and mindfulness. Some schools integrate it via in-classroom lessons that have kids engage in a few exercises at their desk during short breaks throughout the day. Other schools adopt yoga as an in- or after-school elective, while some incorporate it into regular PE classes.

Judging by all the fat people I see stumbling around WalMart, I'd say not exercising is a part of many people's religions. Any form of exercise probably seems threatening to them. That goes double for any discussion of proper diet. And moderation? You can just forget about that topic!

BoraxBill: Lots of fat people in all walks of life, but last time I went to church it seemed like there were more fat people there than in the general population. It does seem odd that religious people would shun exercise. It would seem that exercise would be part of taking care of what the good lord gave us, but sometimes it's hard to understand the religious point of view on certain things.
