President Launching Kickstarter Campaign?
It's the progressive way to start a war! Make your donation now! If Obama wants it, then it must be the right thing to do!
This is pretty funny. I love the sarcasm!!!

Help Kickstart World War III!
Because Obama! What other reason could we possibly ask for? Sure, most of us will wind up in refugee camps as a result of the war, but the camps will provide free wifi! Heck, it'll probably be better than the internet service here in Trona anyways, so donate today!!!

Dick Cheney The Living Embodiment Of Eisenhower's Greatest Fear
Cheney suggests that we should focus on defense at the expense of everything else. He even goes so far as to assert that the military is used to protect our Constitution. The last time that our military could even arguably be said to have been used to protect the Constitution was back in World War II. Every other military action taken since then has been done in the name of protecting the interest of corporations.

War on Russia?

Postby mrgreen » Fri Oct 24, 2014 6:12 pm

Soros calls for war on Russia :wtf:
This might be the most insanely stupid thing I've heard for awhile! All the claims made by Soros are completely bogus. He just wants a war so he can become even richer. He doesn't give a rat's ass how many people have to die for him to make some money. He most likely deserves a taste of his own medicine.
But it never hurts to try, eh George. And the one thing that is not mentioned is that the people who would gain the most from this latest IMF spending spree would be, you guessed it, billionaires like George Soros of course

Putin: America is a bully and threat to stability
Russia and Putin aren't world threats. The real threat is the USA. Putin is a great leader. Our leaders are mere hacks by comparison.

Barack Obama, Zbigniew Brzezinski and Al Qaeda
This video puts things in pespective. Brzezinski was the guy who lured the USSR into Afghanistan and he is one of Obama's foreign policy advisors. He is willing to do anything to hurt Russia. He'll set up a war where tens of thousands of people die. He'll doube-cross allies. Anything as long as it hurts Russia.

GOP Loves Putin, So Why Did Boehner Say Bush Would Punch Him?
Extremely poor commentary offered in this clip, but it shows the uninformed mindset of many news media pundits. They talk as if they know something, but what they say reveals their extreme ignorance to anyone who actually is acquainted with the facts. Did Russia invade Georgia in 2008? Well, sort of, but Georgia attacked Russian peace-keepers who were stationed in South Ossetia and Russia retaliated with a military incursion into Georgia just to let Georgia know that such behavior would not be tolerated. For some reason the Young Turk guys present this as an example of Russian aggression, thus perpetuating lies regarding Russia. Similarly there was an article in Time Magazine called "Russians Re-write History to Slur Ukraine Over War" which contained many factual errors and which white-washed the atrocities committed by forces from Keiv against separatists in eastern Ukraine. In that article the annexation of Crimea is characterized as a military invasion even though the people of Crimea voted overwhelmingly for annexation. This was only a few months ago and the writer of that article seems smuggly convinced that such an outright lie will go unnoticed by readers of his magazine. I guess he is banking on the idea that the readership of Time Magazine is woefully uninformed...

The Russians are coming! Mainstream media's red scare echo chamber
Given a realistic assessment of the situation it is very hard to find fault with Russia. However, it seems that the media is trying to spin reasonable actions taken by Russia into something to get all hot and bothered about. How many people fall for this Russia-bashing is hard to know. I assume that 60% of the public barely pays attention, 30% of the public is too stupid to question anything the news media in the USA reports, and that only 10% or so see through the propaganda spewed forth by the media here in the USA. Is Russian media completely forthright? Probably not, but they seem to be providing information which is far more reliable than that provided by their colleagues here in the USA.
