I saw an article somewhere on the interwebs today claiming that Russia Today was biased and that they had failed to fact check some info regarding eyewitness accounts pertaining to Syria and the situation in Ukraine. Applying the same standards to the news media here in the USA would result in similar claims being made on a daily, if not hourly, basis!

West's 5 stages of acceptance of Putin's plan on Syria
Putin's leadership is undeniably superior to that of Obama. Few people would seriously dispute that. The question is whether or not the USA can actually do something constructive for a change and work for the greater good rather than engage in petty squabbles at the expense of lives.

Next Cold War? Russia, US relations chill during Obama administration
Funny how this clip starts off with a quote from a known pig fucker! Anyone paying attention at this point realizes that Putin is not the problem. It's idiots like McCain and Obama who are the problem!

Hopefully Putin will allow Obama to save face. I'd hate to see Obama have a little temper tantrum over being outwitted by Putin. Who knows how many lives will be needlessly lost if Obama losses his temper and soils his diapers?

Putin tops Forbes’ most powerful people list for 3rd year in a row
As Obama becomes increasingly irrelevant, other world leaders are filling the power vacuum. Putin has demonstrated an ability to act decisively and has shown a much higher degree of integrity than leaders from the USA. That's in large part why he was selected to be at the top of this list published by Forbes and that's also why he's becoming increasingly more admired here in the USA despite the anti-Russia and anti-Putin rhetoric spewed by the corporate media here in the USA.

This Week in Stupid (29/11/2015)
The first part of this video does a good job of discussing the situation between Turkey and Russia. Obviously during the last week, Turkey shooting down a Russian jet was by far the stupidest thing anyone on the planet did. The rest of the video is interesting too, but it moves on to other topics dealing with other stupid things that happened this week.

U.S NATO New World Order vs Eurasian World Order
The petrodollar is in trouble. Expect an invasion of Syria led by Turkey and Saudi Arabia within the next few months. The USA and NATO will be very generous in supporting Turkey and Saudi Arabia in their efforts to control Syria, hoping to humiliate Russia. However, China will fully back Russia and Iran, who will openly challenge the invasion. BTW, Israel will almost certainly be toast if things go badly for the Chinese-backed coalition and so expect the USA and NATO to manage the situation so as to prolong the conflict and not go for a rapid victory. Our economic system may or may not be thrown into turmoil depending on what suits the needs of the powers that be. If the population backs the effort to invade Syria, the economic system will remain stable, but if the population expresses mass decent, expect the system to collapse. If that happens all bets are off as to whether or not the USA remains intact. The election in November might be postponed indefinitely, leaving Obama in office for a few more years if things develop into what can be characterized as a WWIII scenario. However, it is more likely that the situation will resemble Vietnam on steroids, except that there will be no military draft, although soldiers from the USA will be made available to participate (aka, die) in the conflict. If the economic situation gets bad enough, young men will happily join the military since that will be their only option.

cactuspete: I think you might be getting a little carried away there. Although I agree that the scenario you propose is plausible, it's not likely. The invasion of Iraq back in 2003 was motivated mostly by the feeling that the USA needed to control the flow of oil through the Middle East and that Saddam Hussein was likely to block US ambitions. At this time the USA needs Syria or Iraq in order to build the proposed pipeline to Europe and thereby undercut Russia. It's no surprise that Russia is not sitting idly by and allowing the USA to have its way. So, yeah, your scenario isn't totally implausible, but I think a more moderate series of events will unfold.

pcslim: Okay, I admit that I might have gotten a little carried away, but the point is that the Middle East is in a dangerous situation right now and there's lots of potential for things to get out of control. Also Russia seems to be extremely disciplined in the way it's dealing with the situation. The USA and Turkey seem to expect wreckless behavior from a judo master. Not likely to happen!

The Erdogan Insult Mess: Dutch Reporter, German Politician Arrested For Mocking Erdogan; Swiss Art Exhibit Targeted Too
Our press goes out of its way to insult and scandalize Putin, but when it comes to someone who deserves scorn, you barely hear about the guy since he's one of our allies. We need to be more careful about who we consider friends and maybe reconsider who's on our enemy list!
:smack:
The insanity around Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his insanely thin skin is getting worse. As we've discussed, Erdogan has been going crazy suing anyone in Turkey who he claims insults him (over 1800 cases in just 18 months). And he's tried to take things internationally as well. Even when visiting the US, his team tried to silence the press. And then he whined about a song on a German TV station mocking him. That resulted in a German comic writing some more direct insults, and Erdogan somehow discovering a nearly forgotten German law that allows for criminal cases against anyone who insults a foreign leader.
