Fantastic post Rusky Ed! Even at a half hour long, that was probably about the most concise, yet accurate, account that I've seen of events which have transpired over the last three decades between Russia and the USA.

CNN PROPAGANDA: If they would focus on the truth instead of their agenda, they'd be able to regain the respect of the public, but as it stands everything they say has to be taken with a grain of salt. They have damaged their own credibility more than they've hurt the Russians.

I feel that the press has an obligation to be objective. I grew up as a kid watching Superman believing that all news reporters were like Clark Kent and were honest, and had integrity. Only now it appears that the press are the actual villains, placing their paychecks above everything else and are for sale to the highest bidder. At what point did it become the norm for a propaganda film to go around masquerading it's self as a documentary? Free speech should mean that everyone has the right to say whatever they want to say and they should never be prevented from doing so but at the same time should be held accountable for lying. You have the right to give your opinion but not to harm others by lying which is so often done by the news media. Where's the accountability? Seems like it has gone out the window!

Russias growing sphere of influence
A prediction a few years ago was that Russia and China would gradually eat away at the USA's dominant position in the world. There's little doubt that this is happening. Our economy is weakening and more and more nations are doubting our ability to lead. We cling to military superiority as a way to force other nations to comply, but that road does not lead to a good destination.

Russia Is Prepared To Respond to US Preemptive Nuclear Strike
A lot is made of US military superiority, but it would be wise to expect that Russia might have a few tricks up its sleeve. Not only does their leader have about 60 IQ points on ours, but their political system at this time is much less dysfunctional than ours.
