Tech companies want to control the news
Information control is more effective than direct propaganda. Selectively promoting some news and algorithmically demoting other news is a highly effective way of controlling who hears about what. It appears as if there is no agenda, thus making the information more compelling, in part since it comes from what appear to be neutral sources, but these relatively neutral sources become proxies for those pulling the strings behind the scenes.

Fear & loathing in Dutch classroom: Russia has claws and fangs
Information presented in classrooms should be as neutral and objective as possible. It's intellectually dishonest to do anything else. Children should be taught intellectual integrity at an early age. Here we see an example of the exact opposite.

It's not propaganda so much as it is adjusting the facts to present an alternative viewpoint.

Adjusting the facts to promote an agenda is more or less the core definition of propaganda or as google says: "information, especially of a biased or misleading nature, used to promote or publicize a particular political cause or point of view."

Propaganda is what the Russians do. Americans make political corrections.

Sounds like hypocrisy and propaganda are two heads of the same monster.

Pentagon: Putin is an 'antagonist'
What's with all this anti-Russian propaganda? The Pentagon seems to be stuck in Cold War mode. Russia has moved beyond that, but our leaders here in the USA are stuck in the past. The only thing posing an "existential threat" to the USA is the USA!

a2z: I agree that Russia has moved beyond Cold War mode and that it is our leaders who need to get beyond that. The problem is that Russia refuses to be subservient and our leaders act like Russia is antagonistic when it refuses to join the herd. The idea that a country would actually assert its own self-interest baffles our leaders and they even feel threatened by such an attitude. So much for diplomacy and working to achieve mutual benefit.

Propaganda Watch: RT center of Western media attention (PROMO)
It was very effective to put Chomsky at the end of this clip following a bunch of bogus claims made by the usual bunch of clowns from the USA.
