Obama's "Lies" versus Romney's Liessurfsteve wrote:Give it a rest. The election is over and Obama won already. Obama is clearly the more believable of the two liars. It's almost as if the republicans went out and found the worst person they could to run against him. In fact I can't think of any two people that would be worse for our country.

Looks like Romney won something! And he won this one by a landslide!
There are some important differences between Obama's "lies" and Romney's lies. I gave up listening to the supposed lies told by Obama fairly quickly since it was obvious that it was a list of promises that can be seen as not being fulfilled. That is, it can be argued that Obama intended to do all sorts of good things, but that he failed to live up to promises which he did not have absolute power to make happen. Romney's lies are fundamental misrepresentations of reality. He made assertions which can be disproved by looking at actual facts. While Obama's assertions pertained to future events which are speculative in nature, Romney's lies pertained to past events which can be proven as a matter or record. Someone who makes promises he can't keep may still have good intentions, while someone who is willing to lie about observable reality is truly dangerous!
