‘Trump Derangement Syndrome’ merging w/ ‘Putin Derangement Syndrome’
The anti-Russian propaganda campaign of the last several years has affected the views of most people. It takes effort to see recognize the misinfo and most people accept the media bullshit without any critical thought.

McCain says independent Russia probe needed
John McCain and Joseph McCarthy. More in common than just initials.

ergot: As they say, history repeats itself. This time it's the progressive liberals going after conservatives instead of the other way around. Orthodoxies tend to produce purges to punish the unbelievers. Progressive liberals are every bit as closed-minded as hardcore conservatives. The ideology is different, but the psychology is the same. At this current point of time one must be more open minded and intellectually honest to be conservative than liberal. It's the 1950s and 1960s turned upside down.

Read my lips... NO! - Putin slams allegations of Russian meddling in US election
For some reason I have more confidence that Putin is telling the truth than that the democrats, CNN, ABC, MSNBC, etc. are telling the truth.

mrgreen I do tend to agree with you. I think we have beat this subject to death now. With every Tom, Dick and Harry in every branch of the government, every news agency, and anyone else you can think of searching for anything to link the Russians have found nothing. Even a blind squirrel will find a nut occasionally and all the special panels started to find something should have at least stepped into something if it was out there. If there is anything it must me so ridiculously small and insignificant not to have influenced any election that was so closely dissected. Let’s move as a country to fix problems and at the least find something else to investigate that has more substance.

Russian hackers can influence any election in the world! (or maybe not)
Russia has become a popular election prop. A candidate in any country can score points by simply suggesting that Russia supports his/her opponent. It's a little like playing the race card. It's a cheap trick and a quick substitute for actually discussing real issues.

"Russia Hysteria Is Making US International Laughing Stock"- Chomsky
This is an excellent analysis of the overblown concerns regarding connections between the Trump administration and Russia.

US Intervened Over 80 Times In Foreign Elections
It's important to keep things in realistic perspective and to be aware of blatant hypocrisy.

‘Conspiracy theory fantasies’: Russian think tank dismisses report it interfered in US election
I've come to the conclusion that the only news agency that actually hires real journalists is Russia Today. All the rest of them (CNN, ABC, FOX, etc.) are fake news.
