Both sides right now are really showing their true colors. Next election we can try and vote every incumbent out and try again. Very sad and disappointing.

Putin responds to US-imposed sanctions
Russia has been very patient with the nonsense going on here in the USA. Our country has gone out of its way to antagonize Russia and all the supposed reasons for this behavior are mere fantasies. Our leaders have literally lost their minds!

Russia weaponized Twitter to sway election
The USA has the largest and most prolific bot armies in the world and the USA (mostly the CIA and the NSA, but other agencies as well) has been at it for quite some time.

Egypt's Social Networking Revolution
The reason Ghonim's online postings became so noticed is that bot armies controlled by the CIA and the NSA promoted them. The Egyptian revolution was manufactured by the USA. This was widely discussed back in 2011, but it seems like the news media has completely forgotten about this or for some reason has neglected to reflect back on those events in its attempt to push the Russian hackers narrative.

desertrat: I clearly recall talk of bot armies as the root cause for the rise of the movement leading to the Egyptian revolution several years ago. These bot armies were attributed to our intelligence agencies and private organizations funded by the Neocons and possibly also by Israel. Like you say this was widely discussed and so it does seem odd that during this frenzy to push the Russian hackers narrative that this has not been mentioned.

TRUTH WILL SAVE THE WORLD: Russia Cannot Lose Information Warfare Against America
Although I don't believe everything I hear from Russia Today, I have more confidence that the info they provide is truthful and accurate than is the case for the info coming from CNN, ABC, MSNBC, etc. This clampdown on competing information sources is a real concern. Our news media conspires to shape the narrative in certain ways. Alternative news sources challenge them and often expose lies and misinformation which would otherwise go unchallenged.

Red scare 2.0: Some just find it hard to leave the past behind....
Would someone care to explain to me how anti-Russian sentiment is not racist? We as a nation make a big deal about racism against certain ethnic groups, but Olbermann at the end of the clip is openly racist against Russians, calling them scum. Isn't picking and choosing which ethnic groups are protected and which ones attacked actually worse than general racism? It's at least hypocritical at the very least.

‘Russia made enemy by US media & democrats' – analyst on Google 'de-ranking' of RT
Too much competition for domestic news networks and so they're forcing Google to derank them. What ever happened to the free market or does that only apply when it works in their favor? When elected officials abuse their power to create conditions which favor corporate news outlets, it becomes obvious that there is collusion between the elected officials and corporate entities.
