mrgreen: Not the greatest song and the way they mix the locations up doesn't do anything for me either. So, I agree with your rating of mediocre and I'd say that's being generous! Interesting just the same since it's yet another production filmed here in Searles Valley.

mrgreen: Love the Pinnacles. Hate the song. You're being a little too kind when you call the song merely mediocre. It deserves something more like lame, crappy, or worthless, if you're interested in my opinion!

What Is That White Stuff?
This video is dated January 6, 2011. Snow sticks at the Pinnacles probably only once every five years or so. Maybe some will stick in the upcoming weeks!

Lost In Space miniature Chariot at the Trona Pinnacles
Lost in Space reruns are about as chessy as it gets, but this is amusing all the same.

"Westworld" wraps filming of scenes near Ridgecrest
This report gets cut off at the end, but by that point you'll get the gist of what it's all about.

DIIV // Blankenship (Official Video)
This is a pretty solid guitar rock song, but the video is weak even though it was mostly shot at the Pinnacles.

KissMyTail: The song sounds okay, but the lyrics suck massively. You're right that the video is pretty stupid, but the band needs someone to write decent lyrics for them. I could almost like the song if it weren't for the halfwit lyrics!

Toro y Moi - Live from Trona :roll2:
I don't think this band is very famous and their songs aren't exactly impressive, but they aren't all that bad either....
