Transplanting Wild Rose Bushes
Pretty straight forward, but the important thing is to avoid damaging the roots as much as possible.

Top 3 California Native Plants
Here are a few ideas for the garden. BTW, there are buckwheats for every climate and so you can't go wrong with buckwheat as long as you pick the right ones for your area!

With possible rate hikes for water lurking in the near future, having plants which require very little water is a good idea. Some people just decide not to have plants, but that's really slumming it if you ask me.

The Ancestral Gardens of Thacker Pass
Gardening with native plants has been going on for centuries. Native American tribes have been growing local edible plants for thousands of years. The site discussed in this video is in northern Nevada, not far from the Black Rock Desert.

VINEGARWEED (Camphor Weed) Only 90 seconds (Trichostema lanceolatum) - or Vinegar weed, Blue Curls
Not the most attractive plant, but it might be a nice plant to try just the same.
