tronagirl and BoraxBill: Facebook views are ridiculously inflated. In fact, Facebook views may be inflated by up to one hundred times that of YouTube. I checked the video on Facebook and the view count was 4.7 million. Divide that by one hundred and that's only 47 thousand. Far from viral if adjusted for real views instead of fake Facebook views. Facebook is often called Fakebook for a number of reasons and this is just one of them.

FAKEBOOK: Exactly. But neither Fakebook or the Burroughs Football team have anything to do with Trona football even if they are interesting topics. Maybe a separate thread should be created. Then again probably not much left to say about either topic.

Burroughs last Kern County school still playing for a CIF title game
Sorry Twister, but it looks like there is more to say on the topic. What was said previously about Fakebook is still true and the previous video wasn't truly viral, but the football team in Ridgecrest faces much greater competition than the team in Trona. Not to say anything negative about the team in Trona, but there is no comparison between the two programs.

mrgreen: Don't be hating on The Mighty Tornadoes! I get what you're saying, but this is not the place. The Tornadoes had a very successful season and have every right to be proud of what they accomplished.

CA Bill Would Ban Tackle Football Before High School
It took a couple decades for smoking to be banned from public places and now the same process is occurring with football. Eventually high school football will be banned, but only after the lawsuits come rolling in. Just like women are speaking out about decades old supposed sexual harassment, the same will happen with brain injuries which can be traced decades back to high school football. Money talks, reason walks.
