Olympian's Secret Life as a Hooker
They refer to prostitution as a hobby in this clip. Guys were paying $600 to spend time with this lady. Sounds like an expensive hobby if you ask me!

County may delete residency rule for brothel owners
Interesting legal updates regarding brothel ownership and registration of prostitutes.
Applicants for a brothel license will no longer have to meet a requirement stating they have been a Nevada resident for at least six months, if a bill introduced Friday is passed by the Nye County Commission. Prostitutes also could be making annual instead of quarterly license payments.

Sex Tourism
Nevada made two of the top ten spots on this list of sex tourist destinations. Not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing, but it is noteworthy!
:talk:
Here's the list:
1. Bangkok, Thailand (with a name like Bangkok, it had to be number one! :dizzy: )
2. Nye County, Nevada
3. Carson City, Nevada
4. Queensland, Australia
5. Victoria, Australia
6. Manila, Philippines
7. Amsterdam, The Netherlands
8. Switzerland
9. Prague, Czech Republic
10. Canada

Legal brothels provoke conflicting opinions
Freedom is what makes America great and the freedom to go to a legal brothel is a freedom that only exits in Nevada. That makes Nevada the most free and greatest state in the USA!
:thumb:
At last count, there were just under two dozen active brothels scattered across half of the state’s 17 counties. By law, brothels are allowed by local option only in sparsely populated counties. Counties with populations larger than 400,000 — Clark and Washoe — are prohibited from legalizing the practice.

There Might be TOO MANY Brothels in Germany
Like Cenk repeatedly says, I'm just not seeing the downside here!
But seriously, why doesn't something like this happen in Nevada? The prices are so high in NV and the quality of the prostitutes is so poor that there's no way most guys would pay for sex in Nevada. If the quality were high and the price were low, a lot more guys would consider paying for sex! Maybe the NV tourism board should think about this!

Is Homegrown Prostitution Sex Trafficking? :curse:
This is the wrong approach. Instead of cracking down on prostitution, legalize it and regulate it. That way women can make some money and men can get what they're looking for. It's a win-win proposition! As far as "sex trafficking" goes, that's just a crock of BS. They're calling it something new in order to try to trick people into supporting laws we just plain don't need. We don't need more laws, we need more freedom and being free to be involved in prostitution is an important freedom! We don't need big brother and big sister telling us what to do. We are adults and we can decide for ourselves!
