Prostitution Loophole? Pornstars Hired By Miramax/Disney Exec
At $1200 a pop this is kind of an expensive loophole. It would have been cheaper to just go to Nevada!

Hurdy houses, hurdy girls flourished in boom towns
This is a fantastic article which takes a look at the role of prostitutes during the mining boom in Nevada. Very respectful and intelligent presentation!
Prostitutes were among the first arrivals in a mining boom town. Men generally saw them as tough and resourceful, passionate and fun-loving people with big hearts who provided an essential human service. The old saying, “First came the miners, and then the whores,” holds considerable truth. Like so many frontier mining towns throughout the West, prostitution was established early in the history of Nye County towns, including Belmont, Tybo, Rhyolite, Manhattan, and Round Mountain and, of course, Tonopah and nearby Goldfield in Esmeralda County.

Love the way that prostitution is referred to as an essential human service. I gotta agree, but I'm sure a lot of religious dimwits soiled their panties over that one! LOL

Ex-PVHS coach faces life over sex charges
Apparently starting at the age of thirteen this young girl was able to have sex with three adult men (that we know of) and all three men are facing sex charges as a result. Apparently she met at least one of them at a bar at the tender age of thirteen. I'm not going to comment on the criminal culpability of the men, but I'd say the fact that this happened in Nevada is quite fortuitous and points to a career path which this girl should seriously consider. It is hard to deny that she shows strong aptitude for entering what has been called the world's oldest profession!
:dizzy:
Wald and Hamilton are not the only young men in legal trouble for contact with the victim, who turns 16, the state’s legal age of consent only later this month. Police arrested a man named Tim Shelton in June on a charge of statutory sexual seduction for an incident involving the same juvenile girl.

desertrat: Three adults before the age of sixteen? Maybe the parent should be charged with failure to properly supervise the girl. As far as choice of career, she seems to have what it takes to work at a brothel. I wonder if career counselors in Nevada ever point young ladies in that direction.

Is Texas enabling pedophilia with “upskirting” ruling?
This video features Dennis Hoff, owner of the Moonlite Bunny Ranch, and one of his bunnies, Victoria Parker. Not sure how Hoff and Parker qualify as experts on the law, but they do engage in a lively conversation! As for the Texas ruling, I agree with it since it upholds the supremacy of freedom of speech. Does it enable pedophilia? No, that's ridiculous. Hoff makes an inaccurate statement near the end of this video. A picture of a 17-year-old's boobs does not qualify as child porn. Nudity is not what makes an image porn. Sexual content is required and simple nudity (including exposure of genitalia) does not constitute porn.

Upskirt Photos Ruled Legal in Texas
Here's another discussion of the Texas ruling. These commentators don't seem to fully understand the case they are discussing. No where is it indicated that the photographer intruded into the personal space of the people he took pictures of (i.e. stuck the camera directly below them). Rather it sounds like the photographer used a zoom lense to capture moments from a distance where the crotch area was exposed. Based on this assumption it would be just as reasonable to charge the subjects of the pictures with flashing the photographer or indecent exposure as it would be to charge the photographer with upskirting or some form of voyerism. Ultimately, people just get too uptight about pictures and that's the real problem here!

87-Year-Old Man Gets Pass For Soliciting Prostitute :dizzy:
The guy still has a lust for life. More power to him! The prosecutors made a good decision, but prostitution should be legal for everyone. It's time for a change!
