How your sleep habits could affect your childrens' success in school
Proper nutrition and adequate sleep are the foundation upon which a good education are built. Kids whose parents fail to provide a stable home environment are at a profound disadvantage in the classroom. The other big thing that parents can do for their kids is to read with their kids on a daily basis. Twenty to thirty minutes of reading each day makes a huge difference.

Student explores legal options after alleged body shaming :roll2:
The girl obviously is over-weight and the teacher probably should have toned it down a bit, but school dress codes are pretty subjective. If running to a lawyer over something as trivial as this isn't over-reacting, then I don't know what is!

desertrat: Let's face it, teenage girls tend to over-react to the slightest little thing. Most of them tend to be drama queens and want to turn any little thing into a big deal. That said, the teacher could have handled the situation a little better if we are to believe the details provided in this report, but the teacher wasn't at all out of line and was just doing his or her job.
