Local ski resort plans to open after three years
In case you don't know where the Alta Sierra Ski Resort is located, it's near Wofford Heights and Lake Isabella.

El Nino does different things in different places. Lots of water here, means less water somewhere else.

A friend who lives near Lake Tahoe said they have several inches of snow on the ground. The ski resorts are open and people are hitting the slopes. Hopefully the snow continues to accumulate and the water supply becomes stable again, but in the meantime a lot of people are having fun in the snow!

Can't say for sure what we'll get out of El Nino, but we're not likely to get any of this! :biggrin:
