How to identify Chinaberry Melia azedarach
This tree might do alright in the desert. It's listed as one of the sixteen poisonous plants in my previous post, but it is also supposed to have medicinal uses.

How to propagate Melia Azedarach- White Cedar
The seeds have a very high germination rate and so this might be a tree worth looking into. The seeds are available online from a variety of vendors.

The Poisonous ABCs: From Aconitine to Zetekitoxin
This list takes the form of a poem and as you might expect some letters have more candidates than others:
There are so, so many poisons and toxins to choose from – especially C, inexplicably there are dozens of poisons that start with C – so if I didn’t include your favorite, let me know, and maybe it will show up in another iteration. I have links to poisons I’ve written about before at the end of the ABCs.

Family of 3 found dead near Yosemite National Park
Mysterious deaths possibly caused by toxic algae bloom or carbon monoxide from nearby mines. Both theories sound far-fetched to me.

drdesert: I agree that neither theory explains anything, but my theory is admittedly even crazier. I think it's some kind of military experiment. How do three people and a dog die simultaneously from toxic algae bloom or carbon monooxide? The parents would be going crazy if the baby died and so without some sign of desperation it must be the case that something suddenly knocked all four out at the same time!

CrustyOldFart: Daffodils? Really? They look so sweet and innocent! I guess it just goes to show you that you can't judge a book by it's cover or a plant by the way it looks!
