Gibberish! Unless you're going to say that major corporations fit within the categories of "narco terrorists and mafia", this is about the dumbest thing I've ever heard. The real power lies with corporations, however, the government does exist and it is a separate entity from corporations. It's just that at this time the government is manipulated (like a puppet) by corporations. It is potentially possible for citizens to reclaim power, but citizens must compete with corporations and corporations are organized and they have the big bucks. On top of that, corporations have the means of influencing what information is available to citizens and through the control of information corporations manipulate citizens (kind of like a puppet, again). It's not a hopeless situation, but the prognosis is not good.

Well yeah. Corporations make the laws with their lobbyists and money. They control who gets elected and their policies. Don't they?

Weed Wins - Majority Now Favors Marijuana Legalization :smokin:
It may just be a matter of time before legalization happens. The writing is on the wall. It's almost inevitable!

Majority of Americans Want Legal Pot
Legalize it already and get it over with! The writing has been on the wall for years and so far very little has been accomplished.

Legal Pot Changes Wash. Police Training Tactics
Drug sniffing dogs have to be retrained to ignore marijuana. BTW, what happens if a drug sniffing dog starts sniffing someone's butt? Is that grounds for getting a warrant to conduct a cavity search?

Racist War On Weed - New ACLU Report
I don't necessarily agree with the premise that the war on drugs is racist. Cenk presents a false dichotomy in this clip and insists that there is no way of escaping the conclusion that the war on drugs is racist. I think there are dozens of possible explanations for the discrepancy in the arrest rates between blacks and whites and that it doesn't take a genius to list several. Nevertheless, I agree that the war on drugs is a waste of taxpayer funds and that it has resulted in the incarceration of tens of thousands of individuals (black, white, or whatever) who do not deserve to be in prison!

The Politics of Pot: Marijuana Goes Mainstream
It's unbelievable that the federal government still considers marijuana illegal. This is an issue which should be decided at the state level.

Marijuana Growing EVERYWHERE
Planting marijuana all over the place probably wouldn't work in the desert, but in a place with like Oregon or Washington it might work since there's much more precipitation. It's kind of like Johnny Appleseed only with marijuana. BTW, during prohibition apple trees were destroyed since they were used to make cider.
