PARODY PORN: I like that concept! Also I agree that it should be considered protected free speech. Rule 34 states that if it exists, then there's porn of it -- no exceptions! Porn of cartoon characters is fun, but I see no harm in porn involving real celebrities. Just seems like great entertainment as far as I'm concerned!

PARODY PORN: Celebrities are fair game as far as I'm concerned. And on the eighth day the good lord said, LET THEIR BE PORN! So it was. So it is and so it shall be! I agree that celebrity porn is espeically fun. I get so annoyed when celebrities whine over every little thing.

Illegal porn can wind up on your computer without your knowledge. What do you do if this happens to you?

Just As Everyone's Starting To Worry About 'Deepfake' Porn Videos, SESTA Will Make The Problem Worse
This "Deepfake" idea is more fun than threatening. It's kind of an eye-roller! :roll2:
From a comment:
At the time I was thinking one could take mo-caps of a variety of basic porn actions, couple them with body shapes and skin maps of famous figures extrapolated from a sufficient database of photos and video footage and then make plausible porn of anyone boffing anyone else.

Originally, the idea was that as soon as we figured out how to render Humphrey Bogart and Marilyn Monroe cheaply enough to resume making movies featuring them as leads, we would.

Then someone would figure we could go ahead and make Bogart/Monroe porn. Soon to follow: Customized I had sex with Marilyn porn where the client was rendered into the scene doing Ms. Monroe. Then it was a matter of what other pairings might be interesting or useful.

It would cause a few scandals early on, but then would start serving to cover for scandals, since it would raise doubt regarding any legitimate sex tape. Anyone could say it wasn't me.

Meanwhile, now we have early deepfakes. The process is slightly different, we're essentially right on schedule.

The Deepfake Videos Used In Porn Could Get More Dangerous
As usual VICE News is making a big deal over nothing. At this point deepfake porn is not even close to realistic. Eventually it may become convincingly realistic, but who really cares? When it reaches that point the issue will cease to be an issue. Everyone will then be free to star in all the porn they want since there will be no way to prove who was actually in the porn! It's a weird way to increase personal freedom, but that's the way I see it going!

Deep fakes seem more like a fun creative project than anything to worry about to me. The technology is interesting and some of the projects I've seen so far are good for a laugh. They might be seen as a new form of liable, but that's an issue for the courts to decide. I would expect that they'll be considered to be a legitimate form of parody and social commentary. Anything that makes people question more is a good thing and that's just exactly what deep fakes do.

a2z: The implication is that photographic evidence is not all that reliable. Big deal! So what? There's nothing to fear here other that that the retards in charge will convict someone based on fake evidence which they should darn well realize is fake. It's human stupidity that's the problem. Not the development of a fun and interesting technology!

Borax: Definitely not the end of the world! The possibilities for entertainment are tremendous and that's what really matters. And as for photographic and video evidence, there are some issues even when it's authentic as we saw with the MAGA hat incident. Human interpretation leaves a lot to be desired.
