The Sinclair videos are very interesting. He sounds pretty confident about the future, but then again maybe he just wants to sell his new book. Then again AGAIN, money generated by the new book could generate funds for further reserach. He is a Harvard professor and so he's probably not just blowing smoke up our asses, so to speak.

Dr. David Sinclair on Informational Theory of Aging, Nicotinamide Mononucleotide, Resveratrol & More
This is a really good interview. When publications are mentioned the papers appear at the bottom or side of the screen. Sinclair provides strong evidence that we can slow down the epigenetic clock and says that it appears that he and colleagues have figured out how to reset methyl groups. If they develop reliable means of doing this then the epigenetic clock can be reversed and you know what that means!

SINCLAIR: I like the guy's integrity. He doesn't recommend any specific products, but he does share on a generic level what substances he uses. He dodges questions about specific products consistently. It also sounds like a lot of good stuff is not available yet without perscription.

Exciting possibilities. Regenerative medicine will certainly yield some serious gains for both lifespan and healthspan. The question is how soon will we begin actually seeing some of these therapies successfully applied to humans.

George Church on reversing aging | ApplySci @ Harvard
The production of certain key enzymes and proteins declines with age. If their synthesis can be reactivated, then the body will be regenerated to some degree. To what extent is the question!

Could Humans That Are Alive Today Live to 1,000 Years Old? | WebMD
Increased lifespan is a side-effect of health. Remain healthy and live longer. Seems simple enough except that the human body is a ridiculously complicated machine, but understand the inner-workings of the body at the molecular level and figure out ways to repair damage and health and increased lifespan would be the logical outcome.
