New report shows how long coronavirus can remain in air, on surfaces
It sounds like a worse than normal flu, but not extraordinarily worse than the normal flu.

Coronavirus changes are rolling out nationwide
It may seem like an over-reaction, but it could save lives.

Gene sleuths are tracking the coronavirus outbreak as it happens
Whatever the origin of the virus, the writing is on the wall. Scientists will eventually figure out where it originated.
As a virus spreads, it mutates, developing random changes in single genetic letters in its genome. By tracking those changes, scientists can trace its evolution and learn which cases are most closely related. The latest maps already show dozens of branching events.

David A. Sinclair PhD Harvard on the Covid 19 Coronavirus Wuhan March 16, 2020
Stay away from people. Wash your hands. Within months it is likely that four million people in the USA will have caught this virus. The death rate is between one and three percent. Do the math! BTW, a working vaccine is likely to be at least eighteen months away. So, we could wind up with 100 million cases before it's all said and done with between one and three million deaths from the virus. Your individual odds of survival are pretty good, but do you want to be responsible for enabling the virus to kill others? Stay away from people. Wash your hands.

Florida governor under pressure to shut down state's beaches
More and more the virus is affecting younger and younger people. It just happened coincidentally that it hit the older demographic first, but it's progressing down to younger and younger people. When it starts to hit families with children this thing will be a disaster.
