a2z: Jordan engages in a bit of apologetics at the end of each of the two videos you discussed. He insists that intelligence does not equate to wisdom, a person's value as a human, or moral character. However, elsewhere he makes a number of statements which call these niceties into question. People with high intelligence are more likely to develop wisdom. People with high intelligence are more able to make meaningful contributions to society, and people with high intelligence are more likely to recognize how their self-interest coincides with the self-interest of others (a basis of moral behavior). Having said all that, intelligence isn't the only measure of human value, but it is probably the single most important element which contributes to one's value as a human. However, if you are a powerful person you might feel threatened by intelligent people and prefer easily manipulated, docile, obedient sheeple who can't think for themselves. It all depends on perspective and what attributes are valued when it comes to such judgements.
