Big Bird's paycheck not really in jeopardy
Thank goodness somebody is finally getting tough on big bird! Romney's comment ruffled the feathers of more than a few people!

Could any and all profits from the licenses fees that are generated from the sales and distribution of Sesame Street toys and DVD’s be used to fund public television? I am not sure where that money is going now. Then the money that currently being funded to public TV could be used to pay down the debt. Seems like everyone would be a winner. Except for who is profiting now with those royalties now.

I don't like the Government putting money into PBS. Seems like the Gov is not park of the public and they should just stay the hell out. I can't say what influence Federal money has on the news and other shows that PBS airs. Seems like it's so small of a contribution that, they will do fine or better with out it. Does PBS pay lobbyists?

removing the gov from PBS is just a good idea. It has nothing to do with our debt IMO.

Romney vs. Big Bird: The Attack Ad
This fake attack ad is sort of funny and sort of true at the same time!

Good point C-Pete. I figure that the Romney Campaign Genuinely Shocked at Loss because he and them believed there own lies. I won $10 that night when he lost. Was shooting for $200 but no takes I was a little late on seeing the opportunity to cash in LOL

Just taking a wild shot at this,I think if you don't agree with PBS over all values, you might not want to see tax dollars funding it.If you agree with their ideas you want to see it funded to the hilt.
