54-year-old man breaks world record for pull-ups :thumb:
A huge number of young people entering the military can't pass the watered-down fitness requirements and here we see an old guy cranking out a world record. Just goes to show you that young people nowadays are babied beyond belief!

That was pretty good. I bet that stud Pedro would like to meet her.

These smart socks want to make you a better runner :pac:
This is interesting, but probably not comfortable on a hot day!

Even A Surprisingly Small Amount Of Running Can Improve Your Health
There is no amount small enough that I would even consider doing it on a weekly basis, but from the perspective of a spectator, this is interesting.

Why Your Body Is Built To Run Long Distances
Some people most definitely are not built to run, while others might be. Why does a Bruce Springstein song pop into my mind as I contemplate this topic?

Why Your Diet Isn’t Working
Interesting discussion about how gut bacteria might affect efforts to control weight.

When running was for weirdos
Basically people were lazy back in the 1950s and it just didn't occur to them that they should do something to stay in shape. Why so clueless?

I was hiking and running in the mountains behind Trona but I could never get anybody to go with me. I joined InShape fitness in Ridgecrest a month or 2 ago and have been working out there instead. It's too bad we don't have any place to work out in Trona.
Make Trona great again!

Under Armour wants to track your health
I'm not sure if I want a relationship this intimate with a corporation. Talk about Google knowing too much about its users. This takes things a step beyond...
