Does anyone recall the origin of the rhyme:
We must, we must, we must improve our bust
The bigger the better, the tighter the sweater, the boys depend on us
I know from talking to a few friends that it goes back to at least the 1950s, but does anyone know when the rhyme first appeared? One person I talked to said she thought she heard it in a Disney cartoon or possible in an episode of Popeye.

CoolChick: Yes, I seem to recall that chant from some show way back long ago. I don't know if I saw it as a rerun or what, but the 50s or 60s seems like a good estimate to me. Whether it was a cartoon, variety show, or sitcom, I do not recall, but I definitely recall seeing at least a couple routines featuring the rhyme. If I were to hazard a guess I would say it was a rerun of Gilligan's Island, but that's just a wild guess.
