Winter Solstice 2014 Google Doodle
I went to a Winter Solstice party today. It just a bunch of friends and a potluck kind of dinner, but it was fun!

UK: Stonehedge filled with revellers celebrating the winter solstice :thumb:
It's like Christmas and New Year's rolled into a single day! It's good to see people rejecting Christian dogma and returning to their pre-Christian roots.

Jingle Beards: Trending Xmas fesitve ornaments not just for fir trees
I haven't actually seen anyone with their beard decorated in this manner and so although it may be trending online, it's not exactly the kind of thing that you're likely to see in real life.

“A Charlie Brown Christmas” to Turn 50 :cool2:
A Christmas classic! It's interesting that it featured advertising for Coca-cola within the cartoon episode.

Are Christmas Cookies Tools of the Patriarchy?
This guy has the right perspective. It's best not to take silly people too seriously! That's especially when they fail to realize that they are being silly!

Unhappy Returns and Post-Christmas Savings
Christmas may not have been cancelled, but some of the gifts will be returned! Actually by this time millions of gifts have already been returned. From what I've heard this was a slow season for stores. Not sure what that says about the economy.

Was This Play-Doh ‘Extruder Tool’ An Accident? :dizzy:
The toy that ruined Christmas? Apparently that's what some parents claim.

Controversial Christmas Sweater
How is this controversial? You'd have to be someone with severe mental disorder to consider this offensive! As for Obsessive Christmas Disorder, I think a lot of people have it!

Entire Neighborhoods Battle for Best Christmas Light Display :smack:
Excessive displays such as this highlight everything which is bad about Christmas. Consumerism gone beyond mere stupidity. The money it took to put all this crap up should have gone to helping the poor, but for these selfish bastards it's all about self-aggrandization.
