TikTok 'Devious Licks' challenge promotes vandalizing schools
CactusHugger mentioned the "Slap A Teacher" challenge and apparently there's a whole series of these dangerous and/or destructive challenges planned by TikTok users. Clearly kids below a certain age should not be given phones. There should be something like a Driver's License test given before kids can have phones and when it comes to a minimum age, I don't know.... How about 25?

How Culture Works
Traditions, trends, fads, and fa-fa-fa-fa-fashion! Some people don't like change. Some people need something new to distract them from their boring thoughts. It's all a matter of taste, but sometimes things which should be just a matter of personal preference become relegated into the moral or legal realm. Some people like conformity and others like individuality and there's a constant tug-of-war going on sometimes behind the scenes and sometimes out in the open.

Social media companies, news networks 'maximize outrage'
I think outrage is just part of it. Some people like outrage and some stay away from it, but even if it's only five percent of the population that is addicted to outrage that's still millions of potential viewers!
