Oddly enough the following ad showed up next to my latest video lesson. I don't imagine that a Muslim dating website would be very fun!

The only way I can translate Russian is with google translate or by reading the subtitles.

Life in Russia

Postby ruskyed » Tue Oct 08, 2013 6:49 pm

Russian Supermarket. "Real Russia"
Modern Russia is quite similar to the USA. In this video we get a tour of a grocery store in Russia. Most of the products are quite similar to what we are used to here in the USA and the prices are extremely reasonable! If it weren't for the cold winters and difficult language many of us might be tempted to move to Russia. At least in Russia the politicians seem to know how to get things done and Russia doesn't have a propensity to militarily intervene in the affairs of other countries every chance it gets!

Living in St. Petergsburg: The Russian Language
I'm not quite ready to move to Russia. At least not yet, but with the way things are going with our dysfunctional government, it might not be too long!

Lots of vodka available in the liquor section! It seems like the vegetables were pretty cheap, but most everything else seems like stores in the USA. Even some of the products were the same as in our stores! The world is getting to be one big boring place! Worldwide standardization!
