Kavanaugh faces renewed sexual misconduct allegations
Let's be real here. Even if Kavanaugh did this stuff way back in college, it has nothing to do with his fitness to be a judge at this point in his career. That being said, all he has to do is deny that any of this happened and that's the end of it. The evidence against him is too weak and unless he's going to be stupid enough to admit to any of it, there is nothing here worth discussing. It really doesn't matter how many people make false claims.

This statement is worth repeating. We don't know much about what Epstein actually did. All we have is accusations. The fact that he was murdered while in custody does make it seem that there is an awful lot going on here, but it's difficult to say how much is true and how much of it is conjecture. The important point that shadylady makes though is that:

ergot: The chances that Epstein hanged himself seem incredibly slim to me. Epstein could have raised hell and I just don't see him as the type who would just give up. He had access to good lawyers and plenty of money to fund his legal fight. What we have is a murder and the question is who arranged it? Was it Trump and his friends or Clinton and his friends? Who had the most incentive to get rid of Epstein? Drop the impeachment proceedings and get to the bottom of this situation!

There are way too many problems with the theory that Epstein killed himself. The list is long and as much as some people carry on about his crimes, the fact that anyone would expect the public to buy this BS is far more shocking than anything Epstein may or may not have done.

This is interesting. It sounds like Clinton and Prince Andrew are implicated and that it might be hard to sidestep this little bombshell!

ergot: Interesting video, but some of the terminology was not properly used. The p-word applies to people who prefer sex with children and does not apply to those who prefer sex with teens. There's a reason that most states have a different set of laws for thirteen and under. Epstein was interested almost exclusively in girls sixteen and older. In many countries that's completely legal.

shadylady: I don't think most people care too much about the proper terminology, but obviously you are correct. Most people just lump sex offenders together and don't bother thinking much about the range of behaviors involved. That said, at this point Epstein's crimes are quite irrelevant since he didn't get a chance to defend himself in court. The only thing that we should be concerned about is what happened while he was in custody because the official story is an outright and undeniable lie.

Robert Kraft could face felony charges in Florida prostitution case
Prostitution should be legal and so there should be no legal cases to start with and so this whole thing is pure bullcrap. But even within the current legal framework the stunt being pulled by prosecutors in this case is inexcusable. The prosecutors should be relieved of their jobs and thrown in prison for persecuting this guy. Totally improper use of the law to harass over what should be a non-crime!
