Accidents Do Happen

Falling Off Black Bear Pass
The part of the video showing the accident is only about five seconds long. It gets played a couple times and once in slow motion at the end. But the first few minutes of the video shows what the terrain is like. Doesn't look any worse than the road up to South Park Canyon or down Lippincott, but it is a narrow road cut into a steep slope.

Speaking of South Park Canyon, there was a jeep that took a tumble right above the Brigg's Cabin several years back. No deaths, but the jeep didn't do very well.

Jeep Wrangler Falls off BLACK BEAR PASS !
Here's a shorter video which concentrates on the actual accident. Rollovers like this happen from time to time, but seldom do they get caught on camera.

Off-Road Crash Driver Won't Be Charged
Sometimes accidents are just purely bad luck or maybe absent-mindedness, but often there is a lot of stupidity involved.

Girl, 9, accidentially kills instructor in Uzi accident
This was just plain bad judgement on the part of the adults involved. Kids don't need to be shooting this type of firearm. Maybe a small .22 rifle, but there's really no need for kids under 105 pounds to be shooting anything more than a NERF gun!

People Eat Shit In The Sand
Sand dune accidents involving quads and other off-road vehicles are not exactly uncommon!

Shooting Range Accident
The injuries weren't super bad, but it was a serious accident nonetheless.

Italian authorities investigate cause of cable car crash
Suspended cable cars have always caused me to feel uneasy. This is exactly the kind of accident I always imagine whenever I think of cable cars.

Waterfall incident in India sweeps family into the water
A moment's hesitation results in this family not making it to safety. What happened is a dam was closed and then opened without clearly announcing what was going on. While the dam was closed some people crossed the river and then this is what happened when it was re-opened.
