If it's not about plants, but it is about the natural environment of Death Valley, then this is the place to post your info or question.

Goldfish leave the bowl, get huge
A lot of problems can be avoided if people just do the responsible thing!

Should Scientists Worry That Their Drones Stress Out Bears?
It may be that the use of drones stresses out the animals, but the data gathered through the use of drones is worth it. Besides that, drones are probably the least stressful method to gather data available to researchers.

Watch Two Brothers Rescue a Bald Eagle and Take an Amazing Selfie
This is pretty awesome. Rescuing an animal is something you can truly be proud of.

Watching a couple gators going at it would be quite a sight!

The Only Known Wild Jaguar In The US Caught On Camera In Rare Video
This guy lives south of Tucson. Apparently there are more jaguars south of the border, but most have been killed off in the southwest USA.

Jaguars: The last wild jaguar was seen in California near Palm Springs on Mount San Jacinto in 1860. I believe they were also present in Texas and New Mexico a bit later than that, but didn't last long. I'm not sure how strong the population is down in Mexico, but at least there are some down there.

Leopard breaks into school in India, attacks 6
Leopards. Jaguars. They're both big cats with spots. What amazes me most about this video is what lousy shots the guys shooting the guns are.

Saving Trees Could Also Save the World's Last Tigers
There may still be hope for tigers in the wild, but the countries where they live have to work hard to protect their habitat or else the big cats won't survive much longer.
